Here's hoping, they know Tacoma owners are repeat buyers, they aren't going to throw that away, at least I hope. lol. I cant complain, they have me in a Tacoma loaner and are working to solve my issue, all I could ask for. I know some though have had a bit of a battle, but a lot of that isn't necessarily Toyota's fault but a crappy dealer service dept.

    pretty much just dealers.
I had the same issue with my VW. The dealer I got it from were absolute cunts about it. Gave it to me with the wrong load rating for the tires. Had the dashboard lights flickering. Gave me a hard time about repairing it and giving me the proper tires until I told them I'll go public with it, the dealer already had bad reviews (i found out after buying the vehicle)

Never once went back though. Just really bad customer service.
Meanwhile the dealer closer to me treated me great.

I've had a '10 and '14...both TRD Sports. Never heard the diff one. But both side mirrors have made a little noise in storms or high wind. It has happened a half dozen times over the miles and years. Never occurred to me to complain. I mean, it is a truck...driving into the wind...at 60-80 mph?!! There's gonna be some wind noise.

    UPDATE!

I found a TSB that just popped up concerning the rear diff howl. The number is TSB-4.10-17. It basically says to download "The Great Southern Trendkill" and blast that shit on 58. Worked for me. God speed everyone.

The electronic locking diff is from GKN Driveline, not sure about the regular diff (if different).
