Long story short, I have a genuine Toyota remanufactured starter for a 4.0 V6. It was on the truck for a few weeks, then taken right back off. I was having a starting issue where all indications were the solenoid, but thanks to Toyota's brilliant engineering, you can't replace Just the solenoid, you have to replace the whole frickin starter. So I did, and it turned out that wasn't the problem. The problem was i'd deleted the clutch start switch by soldering the wires from the switch together, the exact same thing I do to all of my motorcycles, because it's a pain to climb in the truck and depress the clutch when I just want it to start warming up. So, i'd joined the wires for the clutch switch, and it turned out that a few years later, despite solder and heat shrink and everything, there was a bit of corrosion in there and the connection was having trouble. I get in there and clean it up and the problem is gone, but now I have this starter that I don't need. I put the original back on the truck because there's nothing wrong with it, so I've got this one left over. I'm now selling the truck, so I don't need to keep it around as a spare. I'm losing money on this, but I have no use for it, so it is what it is. You can see how clean it is, but you may not be able to see that the mill marks are still fresh where it joins the bell housing. The contact for the power is fresh, the motor itself is brand new from the factory, etc. It's a New part, just without the Dealer price, and I'll happily part with it for HALF of retail, which was around $300 (half of that is $150. You're welcome.). It was bought from Toyota less than a year ago, and has been sitting on a shelf since. I even have this really cool box Toyota gave me with it that says stuff like "Remanufactured by Denso" and Genuine Toyota Parts" all over it.

Bottom line, I have no need for it, and I need it gone. Reasonable offers considered.

EDIT: Ah, the mod deleted his post. Clever.

Now that distractions are dealt with, any takers?
