Hey Guys. I'm planning a trip up to Lynchburg in a few weeks, I'll have a day to kill while I'm there. I've been looking around for some trails to ride in GWNF that's failry close to Lynchburg. I have mapped out a couple of options on Gaia GPS.

Route 1 is Peavine rd (FR318) from Pera rd to Salty Gap rd (FR318B) to Enchanted Creek rd (1881) to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Route 2 is Peavine rd (FR318) from Pera rd to Bear Tolley rd (FR36E) to Rocky Row Run (FR36) to US-501. This route will include a few out and back trips on Cedar Bridge Hollow (FR36D), and Sheppe Pond (FR559).

I have attached Gaia GPS files for each route. Does anybody have any experience with these trails? I'm just trying to kill some time by sightseeing, I don't want anything too crazy. If I have enough time, I might do both options. Thanks in advance!

I was excited to write about a trail I did with a friend through GWNF and then I looked at when this post was from. Haha.

I took the Flagpole Knob trail off Rawley Pike with no issues on my essentially stock 3rd gen.

I want to share a trail with you. View it in the onX Offroad app here:
