It was a year or two old, but in great condition.

A new topper spec'd the same is in the $2200+ range not including the racks, so I was good with $1200.

I called the other day and they just said short bed toppers are hard to come by and tried to sell me a new one for 1600. It was a short call. He was nice, but no point in continuing the conversation.

They should have a list for what people are looking to purchase. That way if they come across one, they can let you know...

    Haha I hear ya.

After about 4 months or so of my repeatedly calling, the guy finally got the picture that I was only looking for a used topper and quite trying to sell me a new one.

Finding a quicksand was tough enough. I’m finding pyrite mica, being a discontinued specialty color, is even tougher.

JB is a Craigslist/deal ninja, but I’ll keep an eye out for you as well.

a lot of bad ass stuff
With camper shells, one might need to come the realization that they might need to consider getting one color matched at a body shop.
What ever the circumstance, PATIENCE and willing to drive a little bit, to get one will pay off in the long run.

I think that doing like a matte black or a matte black wrap looks good. When I get around to pulling the trigger on one, I think thats the route I'm going.

I'll attest to the wrap. My buddy did it and it was kinda fun watching him struggle with it. He just said fuck it and had his buddy paint it

Wrapped my Side Panels on my cap last year, already starting to peel and look like dog poo. Next step will be bedliner spray.

Yup I had one on my 2nd gen. Looked killer for a year. Then tree sap started to show up on it. Well if you take anything that is Flat or Satin and try to buff/clean off anything with pressure. You just signed up to polish your entire hood.

On the topic of toppers, anyone need a Prinsu Top Rack? I pulled mine off my long bed shell. I considered using some Gamiviti gutter mounts to put it on my 80, but will probably just buy the Prinsu 80 rack instead.

The Top Rack is in very nice shape with a couple shiny spots on the top from an RTT, and one spot where a cross bar was moved, so there are shiny spots where the screws were. It has a set of Prinsu feet on it so that you have clearance to mount an RTT, but I have no T nuts to mount it to the topper rails.

I'll get pics of it and my tires finally this evening or tomorrow night.

    $300.
