Been lazy about selling my tonneau, but I've still got it. I was asking $400, but I'm asking for $350 now and would be happy to negotiate. Works great, just going in a different direction. Live in downtown Atlanta, but travel around a decent bit.

 

hey i want to give you guys first crack since i don't want to ship, at a set of wet okoles i just took out of my truck. fronts only black and gray for an SR5. $150 firm they are kinda dirty but should clean up nicely i am too lazy to do so they are being sold as is. i am in columbus but will be in ATL this weekend if any one wants to meet up. these are going up on craigs list later this week than on the main TW classifieds after. pm me if interested.

I read this thread and looks like it might fit given part numbers are the same. The other thing it said is the tailgate bar was 1" shorter and it just so happens I've already chopped it down an inch to fit my aftermarket metal bed rails. The post confuses me though because at first he says the 2nd gen bracket is 1" shorter but then says the tailgate is wider.

The only thing you would need is 4 new 1st gen specific topper brackets to hold the top down to the bedsides, since 2nd gens use the OEM bedrails and 1st gens don't have those.

Take a measurement of how wide the bed is right before the tailgate, and I can compare with the Bestop bed bar length.

 

Dude if I hadn't just invested in $300 worth of radio gear I would have gotten these from you. I'm in the Columbus area too. Keep me in mind if they don't sell for a couple weeks. Hit me up with a PM and I may still take them off of your hands.

 

Yeah for sure i will let you know if i still have them. but i dont think they will fit your truck these came out of an SR5 not a TRD.

anyway i was stalking your build i just ordered Bilstein 6112/5160's did you ever end up replacing the rear suspension?

 

You're right the TRD seats are a bit longer behind the thighs.

And no, I'm still running the stock leaf springs. I have absolutely no complaints with the ride quality and I've heard so many horror stories about vibrations from bad angles and carrier bearings. Adding a 3-leaf AAL is still on my to do list but just don't want any headaches as everything's working perfectly as is.

If you want to check everything out, shoot me a PM and we can link up one day. I installed everything myself without spring compressors or anything so I can give you some tips if you need any help with the install.

 

I've got a silver Snugtop shell for an access cab (from 2009) for $725 in very good condition. Also, a like new G19 Gen 4 with 3 mags, docs, box, etc for $500. No pics at this time (at the office).

Replaced my wheels and tires a couple weeks ago. Time for the old ones to find a new home.

16" FJ Cruiser wheels wrapped in LT265/75R16 (Load Range E) Toyo Open Country RT tires. The wheels are OE Toyota wheels that were originally silver. I had them power coated matte black. They are true with no damage from curbs and no bends. The powder coating is chipped off in a couple places (from the last tire guy not being careful when mounting the Toyo tires). The tires are in great shape. Two measure 12/32 and the other two measure 11/32. These tires came with 16/32 new. They are worn flat, no cupping or unusual wear. $900 for an awesome set of wheels and tires!
