We were standing in line to eat there, then decided to ride 15 down the street to a barbeque place. All of us showing up at once to this little place.. it took 30-45 mins to get our food. It was pretty, but we didn't get back til 2:45ish. We weren't trying to leave anyone behind, just lunch became a quest

I know this is a tacoma fourm..but most of the pics I got were not tacomas..actually there were only 3 tacomas we rolled with and by the end of the day there were only 2.

Anyways if you guys remember I am Tim with the black 2wd 4runner! had a good time...still cleaning the mud off and in the car. I'll link a few pics then i'll have a post that links you to the album. Some are taken with my phone other with my DSLR.

BTW. Nick the guy with the newly converted prerunner into 4wd was a nice and understanding guy. he knew i was open/open 2wd and helped me out on which line/path to take and took the time to show me a few things. Thanks to everyone though!

Looks like you guys had fun. I had too much going on on saturday. I did finish welding up my sliders though, just need to weld them on the truck which I'll probably do this weekend.

For the guys that went, do you think it was worth the drive then having to pay 20 bucks? I personally wasn't all that impressed for the money I paid.

Lol true. It would be nice to meet everyone. The first time I went was with a few guys from TTORA. Their rigs were a lot more built lol so they weren't happy with the park at all. I think if the buggy's keep cutting more trails it will be a lot more fun. I really wanted to run Slippery Nipple but I wasn't locked and I also didn't have skids.

That was one reason it wasn't high on my priority list. That's a pretty good hike from my house...about 3 hours. I'd be down to go to one at beasley knob once I get the sliders on. That's only about 1.5 hours away.

IMO think it was worth the money. It is fun meeting new people and experience new things. After this I wouldn't mind going more often. I also would like to add that most of the new trails a stock Tacoma can make it on. I am not so sure about the old trails I seen a few of them and they seemed to be a different beast. So I can see if you have heavily modified your Tacos that it could get kinda boring. Maybe the next meet we have more people will be able to make it. We were pretty badly out numbered by the 4runners. Although it was nice to hang out with other Toyota peeps. The ford that followed was pretty funny especially when it got stuck. Although, the ford was just out to have some fun and made for good company. Now that the weathers getting nicer maybe another trip is in the works for the members of TW.
