All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
We can camp south of Amelia on Little Talboys Island. Just watch out for the raccoons, they will fight you for your cooler.
That’s a great story of a cold brew. Remind me to tell you that one

Well should we start with April then? Should I just throw out a weekend and a tough love kinda scenario make it if you can or should we vote on it? Then we have to decide on where

This is why I created that other thread. Too much effort seems wasted on trying to coordinate something every time. Pick a weekend to go camping and post it in the "GA Getting Outdoors thread"

This is true, however ya got to sift thru a lot to see what’s shaking. I like having the OP updated as things progress keeps it all together.
I also like the impromptu camping posts, but I am sure I will be missing something, due to it being pages back.
To bad we can’t all have write privileges to the OP.
I like both. What I don’t like is people chiming in and are no shows.
Don’t post if you ain’t in.

    This. So much this.

I like the bigger organized events. Like a trail ride with 5-10 trucks is good. Camping with the same number is good. My problem with the bigger organized things is just what you said. So many people chime in with "I'm in" because it sounds like fun at the time; but they don't stop to consider what might be going on that weekend and/or truly commit. So the week of, people start dropping like flies. Makes it really hard to get an accurate headcount so you know where you want to go.

But at the same time, if I want to go camping, I don't need that many other people to go. Maybe one or two others want to join. So I'll post up about it if/when I go.

I am definitely down with your impromptu thread. I love the idea actually...I am just disappointed of the organization options we are limited to regarding forum tools. I only say this, as my background is computers so I know what’s avail.
To be able to see your new thread in a calendar view would be HUGE!

It’s like we need a google calendar up in this mofo

I'll keep with organized events as they'll be easier to manage and probably get a bigger following. But if a few people want to get together for camping trip each month it can be handled in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ga-weekly-getting-outdoors.596215/

Those who do those camping trips each month can try to get into contact with @CowboyTaco to update the OP reflecting that specific trip or just tackle it via PM as you can add people to that
