Just saw this and am setting it to record. I do not watch Unique Rides as I prefer the car shows I watch to inspire me to add functionality to our cars, not bling.

I guess the premise for the episode airing November 29th, 2016, on Velocity is going to talk about a build of Jerald Rivera's Tacoma.

This could be a train wreck, but thought I would share this with the forum.

Agreed. I have also set the DVR just because it is a Tacoma - just curious what they do to it, but in general I am not a Unique Rides fan. Several other Velocity Channel programs are cool though.

I really like the Velocity Channel and like most of the programs but that Unique Rides is just plain awful, there is just no way I can watch, even with a Tacoma on it.

Not fair to dis the kid just because he has a whack job dad. So I won't.

And he may have some taste by having a Tacoma. But I'll admit my hopes aren't high. Those who give their cars to Unique don't seem to have much vision.

Maybe it will be bagged with an LSx drop in. That could be interesting.

I was excited because it looks EXACTLY how my black tacoma did LOL. I did all the same stuff pretty much too.

It didn't turn out half bad.

What is "Unique Rides"? Something like "Pimp my Ride"? Seriously, I have no idea what it is...

Kinda. People are paying for there service though and not getting hooked up like PMR. A lot of celebs and pro sports players getting there cars hooked up.

I thought it was funny when Geraldo asked "wow these headlights look great! Tell me more about them?" The guys says "ya man! They are the new ones!"...lol, think he meant ebay special's?? Lol.

I kind of found it, but you will need to download the Velocity app.

Not as bad as I expected. I kind of like how he has held onto the truck since it was new. They did not make it blingy, so that was good. No drive train updates though.

Saw this episode last night. Pretty decent aesthetics wise, but didn't seem to do any mechanical upgrades to it. I do like that he probably just dropped $30k on updating his beloved 1st gen
