Awesome job to all of you guys! I'm in need of the same thing, I played football and baseball in HS and have always been really active riding motocross, wakeboarding, Mt. Biking, you name it. I was lifting 6 days a week in my prime and maxing bench over 300. I went to college and was playing rugby for WSU but ended up finishing off my knees with it lol. I had surgery about a year ago on my right knee and have been struggling to get back into the heavy conditioning that I used to do. I don't know what the deal is, maybe I burned myself out. I'm 6'2" and about 240 right now. I'm not as concerned with losing weight as I am with being healthy and just overall conditioned. Anyways, I'm gonna start a routine since I'm home for summer and I'll keep you guys posted. Best of luck to all of you guys and keep up the good work!

For those trying to gain weight too.

I have been eating a protein bar (30g) and a vitamin water after each workout.

Tastes soo good! And it's faster than making a shake.

I'm trying to lose fat and gain muscle. So I guess gain weight in the end. I used to have a really low BMI and be very athletic but now I don't play sports (golf doesn't count) and drink soda regularly. I also don't eat very healthy even though I have cut out most of the fast food I ate. I pulled my hamstring when I was 16 and I also have a mild form of scoliosis so I often have back pain which makes me unmotivated to do physical activity for the most part.

I really want to start working out and am embarresed about my gut. So I guess I will start a log as well. Yesterday I played basketball for an hour which was great cardio and it wore me out. Today I had work for most of the day and unfortunately did not do any physical activity. I'm thinking about joining a basketball league and also getting a gym membership.

    Good luck Seth!

Regarding supplements...You should check out Tonalin CLA. I started taking it about 2 months ago and along with a better diet and exercise I have seen the weight drop pretty rapidly. I have also seen more tone in my stomach area which I hard a hard time with in the past. Most of the guys at my gym recommend this supplement.

    Here are a couple reviews:

I've been working out throughout the past 4 years of high school with the goal of just being in good shape and well conditioned for basketball. After I quit basketball I was at 130 lbs on a good day. 7 months later I've gained 20 lbs in lean muscle so im up to 150 :D yay me.

Wow.... all you skinny guys. Try the step mill to build leg muscle. Its the one that is stairs like a tread mill. Hit the weights. I actually have a fair amount of muscle under the fat. I gain muscle pretty easy. I am pretty skinny at 180, but I'm also 6'1". I added crunches to my cardio routine last night with the hope that by the time I get my weight all the way down I will have the muscle to have my six pack back. Im going to start regular weight training this weekend.
