    Lmao

I still can't believe people would pay to have that on the front of their truck.

I liked at first but more I see I realize there are nicer looking options out there.

$479 for just the plastic piece? Does this come with a reach-around?

Whoa lets get back to reality here... A 2012+ homer taco grill, is about $450. And he typically only lists them on eBay. I think one sold for $500? Or u can do the kit urself for about half (but that's apples to oranges).

You guys have ur panties all twisted up over this but call me crazy, the prices are essentially the same, (granted no surround). I'd much rather have the OE toyota part than a part modeled after a FORD raptor for the same price.

Satoshi? His satoshi for the 2012+ went on ebay for 11/1200.

His ghost raptor mesh is what you're thinking of maybe :notsure: He hasn't listed prices for his 2012+ satoshi grills yet.

Yes correct, he's sold more than the one eBay listing. There are other guys making them as well and they list them for right around $450.

It's just a function of what someone is willing to pay for whatever style they decide they like. At the end of the day they're all just plastic crappy car parts that look a little different.

    Just one. There are others.

The difference for the custom stuff is you aren't just paying for a plastic grille that was done up in a mold at a much much cheaper rate, you are paying for cost of the new OEM grille (like $189 or whatever color-matched from CamelBak Toyota), and on top of that the mesh (fairly cheaper) and then the labor involved to recess it or however. Quite a bit different from OEM cost analysis.

My problem with mesh grilles some of these new guys are cranking out (mainly referring to the 12+ ones) is that they are charging ridiculous prices to essentially put the cheaper Customcargrilles type mesh in an OEM grille and then tacking on their own copies of cut letters that as I understood BAMF starting making first. You COULD definitely save yourself the money in doing it yourself for a 12+ Tacoma. But then again I don't like mesh grilles anyway lol.

So that dealership found a patsy for the first one and now raised the price another $10 knowing another patsy will come along. This is PT Barnum's dream.
