^ yea, i kill so many innocent ppl in GTA IV, but it dont feel as bad because:
    a) they are new yorkers
    b) im not pretending to be a soldier

I havent played that level yet, but are you supposed to be a US soldier when you are shooting those civilians?

No, you're undercover and then you are forced into the situation. Then you're murdered.

i just bought it yesterday and beat the campaign tonight. awesome game! sweet missions too!

im assuming that when they give you that warning in the beginning if you want to skip some missions they are referring to the airport mission? other than that mission i didnt really find anything else remotely disturbing... even then... the airport wasnt all that messed up...

I hate to say this out loud, but I agree with you. Having been surrounded by idiots at the airport, I found it therapeutic to shoot videogame people in that scene.

AS long as you can tell the difference between whats real, And a video game it's all good..
i mean what effect did black and white cowboy western movies have on society? did everyone go buy a cow boy hat and shoot Indians?

yeah, i said it as a joke but i kinda meant it. there's something real rewarding about picking up a hooker, driving her to the park, watching the car rock, then shooting her after she gets out and taking your money back. killing in video games is a great way to unwind after having to restrain yourself from pushing your boss down the stairs all day
