Too cumbersome! And it has its risk.

Plus, having your nuts chopped off has its benefits. Say she does get pregnant... You'll have a good idea the bun in the oven isn't yours before you get too involved! :D

When I got the snip, I told him that we had kids, but he did not ask for proof. I just said I have two healthy kids and don't want anymore. I was 33. Just tell him that you got all the kids you need and want to be sterile.

    Two thoughts:

Have you gotten chicken pox yet? If you get that shit at 28, you will have a fever high enough that you can go sterile. My uncle had to ice his junk when he got it at 18. Diseases are free.

Become a pothead. That shit makes you sterile if you smoke it for long enough. It might cost as much as getting snipped, but it's probably more fun.

    thanks for the info!

yeah, it kinda is. the problem is that getting it reversed is expensive as shit and insurance doesn't cover it.

it would be awesome if they didn't, but i'd still want a back up.

when it comes to kids "pretty sure" isn't good enough

    too expensive

she does, but i doubt she wants to take it forever, plus its only 99% effective. added to a vasectomy there is no chance in hell of her getting knocked up

    haha!

i have heard of those horror stories where a guy gets snipped then the chick gets knocked up a few years later and DNA tests reveal that the kid is actually the dad's. its rare but i know sometimes they dont take and you can still get a chick knocked up. thats a good reason for her to continue taking birth control even after i get cut on

they're so stupid and needy. they cant spell or read or do math without having to be taught. they are almost completely useless. despite what anyone says baby's are NOT cute. they are ugly and wrinkly and disproportionate and dont even look human. the constantly cry and smell bad. they suck down all your money. they demand you love and affection, even if you are currently trying to stick your love and affection in some girls vagina. i love my time off of work, and i'm not about to spend my evenings at PTA meetings or picking up the little bastard from any kind of sports practice. i'm sleeping in on the weekends, not getting up early and making a bowl of cereal for him so he can watch "thats so raven" or whetever hell these kids are watching these days. Long story short, i'm too self absorbed to be a good dad. i will admit that when i'm 50 or 60 i'll miss not having grown kids to talk to and see me and all that, but i'm really only interested in having a kid once he or she is over 22. the whole "raising kids" thing is just not for me.

everyone says "when they are yours they are different" but i dont think that applys to me. in my mind, if they are mine all that means is i can beat them harder cause they cant go home and tell their parents. seriously though, i dont think i'd ever be able to forgive my kid for ruining what little freedom i have in my life.

i'm one of those guys who really shouldn't settle down at all. i'm too independent and solitary to have things tying me down. but fortunately i found a girl who is just and independent as i am. we are crazy for each other but can go days without speaking and its no big deal. we love it when the other person is around but are totally ok when we're alone. Now if i could find a kid who was that way and i could just lock in his room and he'd be cool on his own, then i'd be down. but kids require effort, and i'm not about to do all that. its hard to explain but when you know something you know it. did you need to kiss a girl to know your straight? no, you knew way before you ever kissed a girl. the thought of being gay was just unfathomable. you didn't need to think about it or talk it out or see a counselor. you just knew you liked vagina, and desperately didn't like penis. i'm that way with kids. i desperately do not want kids.

i've got the pot head thing covered but thats not enough insurance for me.

Had this done back in April, nothing to it. In & out & back the road in 40 min.

1 shot on each side of your sack to numb it (which btw, stings like a mutherflocker!)

Then you feel nothing as he proceeds with cutting.

Sore for a few days, then back to normal. Cost was about $1k,
    Ins covered most?.
