GETTING 10.4 MPG 2006 trd v6 manual

cleaned the MAF and throttle body it might have helped a bit but i also have no muffler, exhaust leaks and possibly 02 sensor code?? what would be the biggest contributing factor to this bad MPG

 

Maybe brake cables stuck on

I don't know where you're located, but in Minnesota this time of year it could be short trips in sub-zero weather. Mine's gotten as low as single digits a couple of times. It averages about 18.5.

 

Stock gearing, stock wheels and tires? need some more details

 

800lbs of armor, tires, 12in lift?

Change the air filter, spark plugs, run a can of injector cleaner through it.

How many kilometers on the engine?

Have you changed the fuel pump/filter unit ,or upgraded to the URD pump w/external fuel filter?

 

Does this truck have a lot of rust?

Pictures of the exhaust leaking areas?

 

If the exhaust leaks are upstream and/or near the AFR/O2 sensors you should probably address those first, next would be if you still have codes see what those are and address those.

 

@Torspd nope barely any frame rust it was replaced a few years ago exhaust is rotted though

 

@Dm93 its not leaking at the header/manifold it’s all down after the cat after the headers im pretty sure i’ll try to get some pics for you guys

 

@Torspd 230,000km replaced frame and didn’t do any of that maybe i’ll look into it then thank you brother
