Ordered a new Tacoma. Should arrive in a month.

What oil filter fits on this engine?

    What gas should I use?

    Regular, mid-grade or premium?

Regular gas, shoot for top tier a brand if you care enough to(I do).

Oil and Filter? I prefer OEM Filter and Pennzoil Platinum but who cares, first 6 oil changes are on the dealer with Toyotacare, they aren't going to give you any money back for not going in, might as well take advantage of it.

While it is under warranty, follow manufacturers recommendations.
Any 0w20 will work. The filter size for the V6 is a little longer but either is fine.

Once out of warranty you can play with the change intervals.
I use 5w20 in the winter and 5w30 in the summer at 7500 mile intervals with a way-oversized Fram Ultra XG8A filter every 15000 miles. That is basically twice a year oil changes. The oil could go longer but the interval works for me. If I ever start using oil or seeing the oil get a lot darker from blow by then I will shorten up the filter interval, but that is a long time from now.
