Hey guys, first post on this fourm....
The days of my 09 Nissan 370Z are numbered, as the woman is moving in, and along with her a child. I have selected a 2010 Tacoma (SR5 w/ Towing, TRD package). I do have a couple questions....
1). What are some maintence issues that have I should be on the look out for?
2). What is the ideal way to break in the engine?
3). What type of oil do you guys use? (Brands)

    Thanks!

1). What are some maintence issues that have I should be on the look out for? I don't know if there are any maintenance issues per se. There are typical issues due to design or manufacturing that are addressed with TSBs. The Tacoma is like any mass produced vehicle. If there is an issue you take it to a dealer.
2). What is the ideal way to break in the engine? There are many theories to this. Most would suggest to follow the manufacturer's recommendations in the owner's manual.
3). What type of oil do you guys use? (Brands)Dino for a while on a new engine engine then switch to a synthetic down the road.

    Thanks!You're welcome.

1). What are some maintence issues that have I should be on the look out for? My truck has 142,243 miles. Just do regular tune ups and oil and stuff and u will be good
2). What is the ideal way to break in the engine? Its not as fast as a 370Z so remember that.
3). What type of oil do you guys use? (Brands) Mobil 1 15,000 miles extended performance with Mobil 1 oil filter. But you wont need this type if your truck is new.

    Thanks!
