Getting a ton of codes thrown and no idea why

I have about 38K miles on the truck and the battery went out a few days ago while camping. Jump started, ran fine and got home safe. Woke up the next morning and tried to start, it was turning over (slowly) but not firing. I tried again a few more times and then it fired up.

Once it was started, my dash went crazy with VSC malfunction, Headlight malfunction, BSM malfunction, Pre-Collision malfunction. I replaced the battery and still was getting all the dash notifications. So, I took it to my mechanic to pull the codes.

    Here is what came back:
C1445 - Steering angle control reset incomplete
U0126 - Steering angle sensor communication error
B150A - Short turn signal circuit
B124B - High beam system communication error

They "tried" to get it to recalibrate but kept losing connection supposedly. Not sure even where to start with this. I've read some people have had this issue but haven't seen a resolution yet. Shits annoying while driving and I'm hoping I can get it back to normal.

Side note: I don't run a sway bar and have Bilstein 5100's and 285's.

Appreciate any feedback or advice guys. Much appreciated.

Go get a new battery. Problem solved.
Just saw you got a new battery. Has there been any electrical work done ever?

I replaced the battery as noted above. Still they won't go away.

My mechanic used the Snap-On reader. Not sure exactly what it his was called but it a was a larger one with a screen and everything. Showed me the codes and he tried clearing them but they wouldn't go away.

I changed the headlights when I first got it to newer LED. Added some ditch lights about 4 months ago and nothing then. I did run LED light strips from the bed inverter under my RTT and that seemed to have killed the battery strangely. Looked around for any signs of rats but I'm not the most well versed on where to look for that stuff other than what can been seen under the hood.

He noted that he lost communication twice when trying to clear them.

The simple way to find out would be to undo everything recently to see if the codes still pop up. If they do, the problem is the new mod.

Check that all your lights and turn-signals work...

Disconnect your battery terminals and touch the wires together to drain any residuals, let it sit disconnected for 30 mins or so.

While you are waiting, check all your fuses under the dash and under the hood.

Reconnect the negative then positive terminals and make sure everything is tight.

Make sure the steering wheel is dead straight and the vehicle is on a level surface.

Perform a "Zero Point Reset" (note: the picture of the diag port is upside down VS how it is in the truck)

Then see if all those codes are in history or current with a good code reader or maybe someone in your area will have techstream.

Thanks daks. I've tried this a few times with no avail. Can't even get the slip indicator light to start blinking. It's just always on. Same with the the pre-collision light. There's definitely something weird going on especially since this happened right when the battery was dead. I'm thinking it wasn't getting enough power upon the last start before I got the new battery just don't know how to correct it.

    Re-check the fuses:

    ECU-B NO. 2
    ECU-IG NO. 3

Sometimes it's not easy to tell if they are blown by eye, a meter or test light is better.

You said you changed the bulbs to LED?
Try putting the halogens back in a bad ballast in one of them can cause electrical noise that interferes with the can bus system.
( the spiral cable sensor in your steering column talks to the skid control ecu through can bus)

Beyond that it's checking voltages with a meter at different connectors and looking into it with livedata with techstream.

Make sure the terminals are connected to the battery posts very TIGHTLY. Check for rodent damage in engine bay. If those pass, Start removing any aftermarket accessories/lights that use power, and see if you get the same probs. Even if lots of people add different types of lighting to their trucks, Everyones installs will vary slightly, so you never know. The electrical and communications in modern vehicles is very sensitive. best of luck. Betting on rodents cuz you said camping.

I apprecaite everyone's input on this. Nothing has worked for me thus far so it looks like I'm going to end up taking it to the dealership. Pray for me!
