    Hi to all--
Check engine light comes back on every 40 miles or so after rebooting or using the odo button. Rebooting does turn it off. Fuel cap is tight and not beat up.
The chevy I just got rid of would let you get the trouble codes out by jumping two of the terminals that the reader plugs into, then the check engine light would flash the code.
    Possible on my 02 3.4 L? (105k)
    thanks

I do not know the answer to your question, but some auto parts stores (like Pep Boys, NAPA, etc) read your codes for free.

I'm pretty sure that was pre OBDII. Go to autozone, they will read it for free.

This. Far easier than jumping terminals and counting flashing lights.
