Getting heavy tires back on truck in garage

    Got to grease the new uca bushings and delta joint on a regular basis now. I'm getting up there in the years and been having trouble getting the 265/75/16's back on the truck and the lugs lined up... pita! Got this tool at HF the other day.... the tire can be lifted and rotated with one hand... able to line up to the lug nut holes perfectly. No more heavy lifting!! :thumbsup:

    I bought the yellow single arm thing and sometimes it's more pain than any gain. Plus a pain to store. How much was that one?

    So, I liked this and went to Harbor Freight site, and this is to move the whole vehicle around the garage with 3 others under the tires....... Great idea!!
    My truck tires kick my butt now a days, 3/4 ton on 35's, I'll probably get this and do just that, great idea, thank you for posting.

    I typically just toss a normal prybar on the ground and lever the tire up. Not sure if you know that trick but I think it works great.

    I drive a Miata.
    I use those to scoot my camper around the garage. Great tools. And agree, they're convenient for mounting tires without having to do that monkeyfucking-a-football lift.

    Yep... it's a vehicle dolly... not actually sold as a tire installation tool. The one i got was $99. They come in different sizes. also...

    i did the same thing last year, i got the yellow one. I hurt my back and my wife took over maintenance duties at my direction. She just couldn't lift and align. After much stubbornness i just bought this for her and she couldnt be happier. My wifes a pro now
    Keep in mind there is a limit to how high the tires are off the ground, probably a couple inches
