Update....I'm getting used to it. Love driving it everyday so much that it seems a very minor 'thing' now. Hope my gas milage improves with use of OD now...been keeping it out of OverDrive during break in [my quirk].

I'm 6' and I have to do the "duck my head" move to get in. Had my 06 DC for 6 years, and always thought they made mine a little shorter................Don't even think about it anymore, but I know I do it.

I'm 6' and my wife is 5'2" and we never have issues getting in or out. My mother is about 5'4" and she ALWAYS wracks her head on the top of the door sill.

It's gotta be your technique. I'm 6'1" and have no issues getting in or out of my regular cab truck.

Good to hear! I read your first post and my initial question was: "What giant truck is he coming from?!" I'm 6'2 and never had a problem, and I'm new to Tacomas as well. I came from a sedan... so moving up to a Tacoma was actually much easier for me.

I just use the Bo and Luke Duke method. Though sometimes I overshoot and wrap my nuts around the shifter.
