07 Double cab TRD Off-Road getting 6" lift 33X12.50X15 and bead locks. Is this going to work out and if anyone has something similar i'd like to see pics even if it is just the lift. I can also go with a 295/75/16 but it is a hell of a lot cheaper to go the 15 route and i get more tire. I'm going BFG AT because for the next couple years I will be still on the highway a bit and only off roading part time. After that this thing will become a permeanant wheeler. Then I will go a diferrent route. Advice, comments, criticism welcome! This job is 2 months away so i am rounding up information.
Oh, and yeah that thing is entirely Rhino Lined!:D

15's wont work because of the brake calipers, and some 6" kits require the use of 18" wheels. Check the websites of the manufacturers and see what they say.
did you really rhino line the whole truck, for what reason. and do you have close up pics. Not to critisize you about it just never seen anything like that.

No close pics but ill get some. It was mainly for durability but it is also way cheaper than a paint job, No rust or scratch or paint chip worries, and hell it looks awesome. its the Tuff Grip they offer so it has a good texture to it.
Thanks for the info. Even if they are beadlocks? you would think they would be ready for a lifted truck but i know beadlocks arent just for us guys.

At first I was like a matte black tacoma???? I thought it looked kind of different. Props for a cool idea! At least you don't have to buff out scratches like me!

you can use beadlocks, they just need to clear your caliper, but check with procomp or fabtech about wheels, i know some people have had issues that they didn't know about the wheels before they bought the lift.

I know its great huh! So does anyone know what 15" beadlock rim will work for my truck. this is where i am stuck and as noted previously I am being told a 15" rim can not be put on my taco. is this a definite answer in the sense that there is no 15" rim that wil ever work due to the calipers? would a 16" work?

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
there isn't a single 15" rim that will work on your truck... at all.... ever...

    If you're going with a 6" lift, you'll need an 18" rim...

Ouch. That just doesn't even sound right...That means it would be nearly impossible to put beadlocks on. but again i'm not the knowledgeable one on this subject. hey Baja Moon whatcha running on that Blue taco i seen in your pics., sizewise that is?

Well you can't win every thing in life i guess. Anyone have that combo that i could see a pic of how it looks? 18" Rim with 33X12.50 and the lift or just the tire set up. thanks and i appreciate you beating my unbelief down :)

Why would how much you lift your truck have anything to do with what size wheel you run?

They make 17 inch with beadlocks there the Kmc Enduros. Do a search.

I understand the theory behind the lift because your control arm can get in the way and i also understand the idea behind a 15" rim not fitting around your calipers however if a 16" fits around my calipers now why wouldnt another one that has the proper back spacing for the 6" lift? Could someone please educate my stupid ass?
