    Congrats!!!

You sound like me! I'm getting married in Oct, been w/ my fiancee for 6 years, and going to Maui for my vacation.

I haven't booked or planned anything for the honeymoon to Maui. Waiting to pay for the wedding first. If you don't mind, reply to the thread or PM me w/ some ideas, rates, ect.

    Thanks in advance

A piece of advice - NEVER go to bed mad. Don't hold a grudge, and work through the issues now or they will haunt you forever

Been married 3.5 years...to a very difficult woman. Got married for the first time at 36 y.o.
A few things I have learned:

Women want to be heard and listened to, not have their problems fixed.

Women need to feel loved, Men need to feel respected (Men are confident in their woman's love, but agitated by disrespect, Women are insecure in their man's love, but don't give much thought to respect).

If you start out the marriage one way, be prepared to be that way for a long time...changes are readily accepted or tolerated.

The first year is hard, it is not like serious dating, it is just way different. Make the first year as fun as possible, travel, go out, enjoy.

Wait to have kids, you are young enough to wait...they will change everything.

    Congratulations,
If you have found the right girl...your life just go a whole lot better.
