Oh yeah some guys mid life crisis is a red sports car, others it is red(ish) truck.

Never been a fan of red…mine would be blue. Maybe with a nice patina so it looks like a POS to the untrained eye.

I was at a dealership today to buy a part, and took a walk around the showroom floor. They had a white TRD Pro on the floor with a low-key sticker on the windshield indicating a cool $10,000 dealer mark up on the truck, and interestingly: no factory sticker on it though. No foolish "racer-boy" add-ons on it either. The interior was very nice in gray cloth (with a pattern that was a little "loud" and over-styled IMO) and what looked like leather accents on the bolsters.

I also climbed in to the (power) drivers' seat of a new Tacoma, and was amazed at how high you sit in that truck with it adjusted all the way up. Seemed to be about 2" higher than my 2014 and solved all of the issues with the sight-lines: You can tell where the end of the hood is and where the front corners are in that truck as well. It also felt like I was sitting in a chair at the table which is what I prefer with the power adjustment option to make it more like a bucket-seat if you want.

 

Bring back the V8
