Same to the huge mansions that people have lot of rooms that they don't use. Waste of space and/or money, does it?

To me, they have their own way to get what they want that they are happy with.

Not if they keep the sticker from new into the glove compartment for next owner to see. If not, some dealers can print the sticker to what the truck has for buyers to see. Which the Vin and barcode is for that allows you to pull the data up to see what truck has.

My 2007 Tacoma has sticker in the glove compartment which I got Tacoma for free.. I traded it in for my 2017.

It is a good looking truck, do agree not worth it. Could spend $40K less and buy a truck that can actually tow and haul something. Tacoma is fine for now, going to upgrade to 1 Ton when I retire, maybe or a Sprinter, or a…who in the hell knows!

Of course my buddy paid exactly the same as my Tacoma for his slightly used F350 (had 20K miles on it) Which he keeps reminding me of…

Yup, I saw youtube video of classic car and a guy was looking at it... he found the window sticker in it.. he was impressed about what this car has. Then he loaded it up on trailer and took it to shop so he can restore it.

I’ve seen that as well. I just don’t think a dealer listing that high fictitious price is going to be stupid enough to leave the OEM sticker with a price tens of thousands less in the glove box.

You'd be surprised. I've seen it a few times- including my first Tacoma- an '01 that I purchased in '02 with 7000 miles on it. Dummies left the sticker in the glove box, which helped me negotiate a bit. James Toyota in NJ. Horrible dealer experience.

Me too! Long time Toyota owner/fan boy, do have to admit getting bored with the brand.

Don’t think battery tech is quite there yet, but do feel that ICE has run its course. On to the next chapter of automotive evolution.

I think the camo pattern on the fender flares and such makes them look sun faded/damaged.

    I bought a house once for $103,000.
Nice 3 bedroom hardwood floors, gas range, large windows - sat on 1/3 of an acre....

In every video I've watched, the designers/engineers have made it clear that the hybrid system
was added for the additional torque, not for additional MPG.
