I was looking used but they need my trim code and I think maybe the 2019 has a differnt trim code for black. Looking at the attached is FB14 my code? If that is the case it looks like the 2019 black trim is different then prior years? When searching tacoma trims code for dashes and glove boxes on car-part.com I see FD15(2017), and FC14 (2018) listed as black but no FB14

Because that is not the part that you need. It is shown as a bin type, maybe 2nd Gen? We have a door with fixed shelves.

It is not shown as a separate part, but comes with 55310:
    https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota_2...MENT---LOWER-BLACK/71694447/5532004020C0.html

You might want to ping a vendor to be sure.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't your wife use the truck bed to transport the threshold?

I think you are right... 5532004020C0. $323 at Toyota Parts Deal... But I think I also need to also double check the color codes as I think the color code for trim for my 2019 is differnt then 2018 based on what I see when checking at car-part.com

Stupidity / Poor planning. Shower door is 38 inches but the threshold place only had 36" and 72" thesholds so I needed to order up. I have a short bed so she would have had to put the tailgate down but back was full of tools so tile guy put it in the truck for her. :frusty:

Interesting. car-part.com is a great site.

Is it bad enough that it can't be fixed? Folks say that a very fast hit will a heat gun will soften the scratches. Maybe a detailer could do it for you? It might save you some $$?

This is a crazy idea, but why don't you call your local dealer and ask them? Make sure you have your vin so they can get the right part.

I did call the dealer. they did confirm the part number from @tonered is the correct one.. He said that part 5532004020C0 was good for 2017-2019 though which throws a curveball as car-part.com seems to have a different color code for 2017 and 2018 black dashes. Wouldn't mind picking up a used 2018 door and saving $250

What I am thinking is the trim code really just effects the seat color and the dashs are all black..

FYI for anyone looking for Tacoma parts there seems to be a salvage place in Ruckersville VA that buys the Tacoma's that Toyota crash tests as they had they had some less then 50 mile tacoma's with the crash test stickers in the pictures. I wouldnt want to buy parts that get stressed in an accident but there looked to be some good opportunities to get some almost new parts.
