I've been looking at this forum for awhile, but figure I'd join so I can post. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area. I owned an '82 Toyota pickup in high school (22R with manual) then a '92 4Runner (22RE with manual) and after a ten year hiatus I bought a 1997 4Runner (3.4 V6 with auto) and regret being Toyota-less for ten years.

I want to buy a new black Doublecab 4x4 Tacoma within the next couple years and am trying to figure out if I should grab a 2015 or wait. Also trying to figure out where to buy it and how much to pay. So I guess I'm here for advice

Welcome!I'd go for the 15 cause the soon to arrive 3rd generation to me just isn't appealing outside or inside.Tacoma's hold there resale value so the prices may not be as negotiable even with the availability for the 15.I'm sure they'll be quite a few people wanting to be the 1st on the road sportin the new 3rd generation in its 1st year so dealers might want to blow out the last of the 2nd generations but i doubt it without making money.Good luck cause you OP are sure one to keep Toyota in the family.Nice!
