    alrighty so im getting the grill and rims painted this weekend.

    ill show yall the before and after post the after its done...


    any input on experience? any pointers?
    does anyone recommend any sorts of paint and certain gritt sandpaper?

    probably going to use 200 grit sandpaper for the grill

    80-100 on the wheels

    Just paint it with some krylon fusion.. Usually that's what everyone uses on this chrome shit

    80 grit sandpaper is WAY TOO rough!!!! Your gonna mar those things to death and the finish wont look smooth. I'd go with 320 grit or higher. Remember you dont want to remove the finish you only want to scour it so the paint can adhere to it. There is no need to completely remove the paint already on the wheel.

    Love the hood scoop...ive been trying to do something like for a while now. Im gonna have to look into that
