    CMC 285/70/17
Found a set of 285/70/17 KO2's in the new C load rating for less than $800.

Hoping to wrap these in a set of Pro Comp 5034 wheels which are 17x8.5 with 0 offset.
(I'm not a fan of the look of 16's with a 33" tire and these are very affordable)

I'm prepared to have an alignment done after mounting, as well as trimming fender or even CMC if it comes to it. Other than those things, is there anything else I should be prepared to do?

My truck is running stock OR suspension and wheels/tires. I do not plan on lifting anytime soon. As far as avoiding rubbing as much as possible, am I good with the 0 offset wheel specs? Or should I look into more/less offset? back spacking?

    Thanks.

dont mind cmc or trimming, lol.
    don't plan on lifting.....rofl

read the links in my signature, fully. Then go read a few build threads, any of them running 285's.

then come back with some real questions. I'm not being an a-hole, just saying do some more reading before asking silly questions.

Many have ran this size with no lift. Rubbing corrected with some fender work, CMC worst case scenario to my understanding. I don't think anyone here is in the business of making this stuff up?

haven't seen one sans running glass fenders or cutting fenders, unless you want to do that then 285's will work. I however have hear of running 255's with stock suspension with trimming and other minor adjustments.

Won't rub if you don't offroad... Or turn sharply into or out of angled approaches and driveways, or in reverse...

If the suspension never flexes you'll never have rub that will be an issue... That's assuming you don't have mud flaps and are willing to trim some plastic and maybe bend a pinch weld.

That’s bullshit. Almost everyone has rubbing even with lift.

The few that don’t are lying or never turn their wheels
You will need +4 caster or close to it and your stock UCA won’t allow that. Though with no lift I’m not sure if it will have that much of an impact.

Out of real curiosity, why is it that being in reverse is an issue? I hear that quite a bit.

The good ol "I only rub at full lock, full compression, dropping down the side of a cliff, balancing a coin on my nose... in REVERSE" LOL

Just has to do with the vehicle leaning forward in reverse like how it leans backwards when accelerating forwards

Stock suspension, 33" tires, no rubbing. Man, wouldn't that be the life. I know I'll rub even with 888 coils providing me 2+" of lift...so I'm holding off for a bit until I can get new UCAs.

They are lying or don't turn like Joe said

I tried fitting with 1.5"lift and was hitting firewall at full lock same wheel spec you have.
I had to go to 2.5"lift cmc beat pinch weld flat and trim plastic I still rub in reverse on the front bumper/fender liner.
    And I have 3.6 caster

Getting lucky and not needing CMC is one thing but no lift is not happening based on the issues I had.

But there's no consistency with these trucks so who knows

Yeah, OP can attempt it, but just know you'll more than likely have to get some sort of lift in there. They may 'fit' as in you can drive with them on...but you go over any sort of bump or take a turn quick..good luck.

How do we feel about a 275/70/17?
