I did the dash cluster switch to LED today and it looks awesome! Problem is the orange HVAC lights are killing the new dash look. I tried removing the orange on the back of the cover but ended up straching off some of the black and some of the text is missing now. Any suggestions for fixing this? I've seen pics of aftermarket panel covers (Nu Image ) but every place I look, is out of stock or discontinued.

You have to get one either off of E bay out of a 4Runner. I got one from a parts supplier out of an 02 4Runner and replaced the bulbs and HVAC unit's faceplate. No orange behind the 3rd gen 4runners faceplate. Just make sure not to get one out of a limited since it's digital. I got mine out of an SR5. I disconnected that orange ring around the cigarette lighter too. And got an aftermarket stereo that's blue also! No more Orange. I'm working on the clock delete now. I bought an OEM clock delete bezel and a illumination ring out of the same year 4Runner also. Just haven't wired it up yet. Try LKQ. If there is one around where you live. They have a ton of Toyota parts! @EastCountyRyder

Is it brand new? You can buy 3 HVAC control units for that price. I paid $40 for the same exact one you're selling.

Wow! I didn't know they were that expensive on E bay. Sorry bro. Mine is on Post#4. I guess I got lucky!
