Just got my 2017 Tacoma PRO about a month ago with intention to do some overlanding and some trail running. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago so trails are hard to come by. I have a lot of modifications in my mind and I hope to start getting it dirty soon!

The section from Lansing to potosi is the best section of the entire route. I’ve done that section a couple times with @ajmogen @Thatbassguy @Tigerian @Cav_BluTRD and others. Plenty of people would join you im sure.

I'm hoping to get out to the TWAT in April, or whenever the weather is nice enough.

Once the pipeline opens in June, I'd be happy to have company up there for a day trip. A stock truck will do 99% of the pipeline, and there are side-tracks around the only really hard-core section. Just be advised that you're likely to get some light trail-rash on the pipeline.

I'm not sure what modifications you're thinking about, but I recommend starting with armor(skids and sliders) if you plan on hitting a lot of trails.

And, welcome to the forum, @ROGUE-TACO !

Just “ accidentally” drive off in the medium and make your own trail. Sorry officer, someone cut me off, had to go to 4WD.

That’s part of why I got my first set, figured I wasn’t out much. They’ve exceeded every expectation and I’m currently on my second set after 56,000 on the first set.

I sold mine for $400. Pretty easy to get $200-500 out of them depending on miles.
