Nice Drive!! This is what I found more forgiving in the corners then the Challenger in that you you can move the wheel some and not change lanes. So you don't need to hold the wheel perfectly still. That is nice, brakes not so touchy either so you have to push a little harder, great for off road on bumps slowing down. Not as quite but not even as loud as the Dodge Ram was. The Challenger is so smooth it is not fair to compare. The TRD has vibrations, more exhaust noise cruising but not floored! Floored it once plenty of HP more then the Dodge 4x4 2500 Ram Hemi had and it was a 5 speed manual. Seats are good but not the Lumbar fit of the Car it is a 4x4 Truck! Did not ride like a Tank (My 77 Chevy 1 ton Dulley) so I could keep my seat belt on going over the Cattle Guards!! Radio is nice even cranked up loud it still sound great!! I can feel the truck and just need to get used to the little noises and vibrations it has. None are bad but used to driving a Car glued to the road with independent suspension. Boy can you see all over the place which in the Car you are enclosed more, mirrors are nice and big to for changing lanes. So out of a 1-10 rating I would give it a 9.5 it would get a 10 if the steering wheel was leather covered not plastic. I LOVE the Truck!!! I don't feel bad now parking my Car and taking the wife's truck! It will be nice this winter. Cruise control takes a while to get used to along with some other controls in new places. Handy having the wife to work the dash stuff cause the Challengers is brighter and stands out. I could get used to it real fast with a few more trips. I see better over the Hood too not as long. The Car is 5 ft from the seat back to the far edge of the windshield!! All in All this is a Super Nice Truck to drive!!

My 1948 Dodge Power Wagon I restored brought me $39,500.00 in 30 mins when listed but took 1200 hour to restore it! I made the Hydraulic Lift Bed for it too.DSCF7287.jpg Nice part was I liked doing this and did it many time. That is how I bought my $30K JD4044M 4x4 Tractor selling the Power Wagon. Ended up with the Challenger selling Bullets to get the Military truck to swap for it I had saved for a long time. You think Trucks went up I sold $20K in Bullets! Wish I could have got the TRD this way too!Power Wagon2.jpg

Nice Truck, Congrats! Good move with the long box. I love my 2020 Sport long box. However, if the Off road long box was available in Canada that would have been my first choice.

DSCF2682.jpg Enough but not near as many as I had! Been collecting them since Clinton started talking about a 10,000% Tax scared me but was profitable to say the least. At 70 I figured I would never shoot them all and the Price was like new Trucks out of the world compared to what I paid. Took a lot of trips to fill up my truck with them and head to the gun shop! Made them unload them plus thru in a couple Safe Queens which before I left the store they were sold to people walking in looking. Both me and the Gun Shop were happy and he jacked up the price more. No body had ammo including the Police for training. Funny part they started training with my stuff once more. For once my wife understood why I was buying it for the last 37 Years! Just one Caliper of many I liked the good stuff! These go for 30-60.00 a box if you can find them. Honest it was a Whole Lot! About a Big Construction Joe Box Full!DSCF2686.jpg

Incidentally the 2022 TRD Pro is still not available on Toyota's website; all other trim levels can be configured. Wonder when they'll make it available; thought it would show up on Dec 1st, the same day the Tundra dropped (Pro excluded).

I need to learn how to not over floor the TRD all the time? Used to pushing the Dodge Ram to the floor going up our hill and not much happening. Push down now and you keep going faster up hill love it!! Keep pulling down on the Right Hand lever for Drive hitting the wipers cause my Chevy was a Auto on the Tree. Darn door handle is up high not in the middle and I keep looking for it in the middle. Just little things to get used to. Took it to town to drop off my tires today. Big thing for me is the steering wheel turns way more for turns then the Challenger. I forget and then have to go hand over hand not just pull it one way or the other on 90 deg turns. Hope the wife will let me go off road with it cause there is a bunch of setting for different surfaces and Differential Lock. So tell me what does the Gravel, Rock, Mud and Snow settings really do?? Is it a shifting or steering thing? The Challenger has Different Modes too like stiffening up the steering wheel, locking the AWD in all the time and different shifting times ect. Now is there no problem shifting on the fly in the Taco, is it quick so if you see Ice or in the winter can you leave it in 4X4 while the road just keeps changing. My Old 4x4 Ranger took it's time Electric Shift and hoped it was fast like the Chevy just pull it in with a lever for high range except it is a button??
