So I’m buying a second gen Tacoma after selling my first gen and I want a Cali loft on the second gen like the front being higher then the back. I was doing research and say a 4in spindle lift will do that. Is that good because I think that will just level it. I want what this guys truck has.

I believe the Spindle lift will only work for the 2 wheel drive Tacoma’s. So if it’s 4x4 you should be looking at a different type of lift. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s the case.

Also a 1” in the front will level it and everything else above that height will be a lift to the front. The 4x4 version in the front should not be lifted past 3” do to the severe angle it causes on the CV axle.

Just a heads up, expect a shit storm. If you do proceed with that look, at the very least aim your headlights down.

That’s what I can say nicely lol

Not a look for everyone, but hell its a forum about our trucks bound to be wanted.

Yeah since you are going RWD a spindle lift is just fine. This looks like a 3-4” lift with nothing in the back. Not sure if the harsh rake will require rear shims or not. Maybe give headstrong off-road or Wheelers Off-road a call and see what they recommend.

No problemo. Also if you call one of those vendors ask about aftermarket Upper Control Arms. These will help you fix your caster during alignment back to factory specs. I'd recommend the SPC UCAs for your needs.

First thing I would suggest would be to put a jack under the front of your truck and see what height you want to get. Put some stands under it, and get in the driver seat to see if you like it from the seat. Once you figure out the height, a better assessment can be made on the route to go.

I know Fox makes a 2.0 shock already assembled to give you a 2 inch lift in the front and you could leave the rear stock to give you that look, or if you wanted a little more could go with full 3 inch coilover.

Not gonna bash other than to say it's not a look for me...

That being said; I don't think it's the safest set up either. With it sitting like in that pic, you'll be taking a fair amount of weight of of the front wheels. That make the steering feel light and easier to hydroplane in the rain IMO.

But they're your wheels, do what you want.

I thought it was called "Bro Lean"?

I ain't hatin' though. I see rigs on here everyday that have been "leveled" that clearly aren't.

I'll watch this one from a safe distance.
