Eastern Washington has a lot of tacoma's with your Cali lean. It's basically California with lower taxes and cooler people.

Have a 6 inch in the front, stack a leveling kit on top of that, drop the rear and add 300 pounds of steel in the bed. Yeeyee

Obviously you are not going to be using your truck for truck things.

Trucks come with a forward rake (higher in the back) so you can put load in the bed without being overly squatted.... you are going to do just the opposite, never understood it. (outside of a true off road desert truck with proper suspension)

You should go the old-school route, OP. If you want it to squat, do it with hydraulics. :jellydance:

Uh no. I am within 3 hours of any activity that can be done. You are not even close to within 3 hours of any activity in Washington.

If you’re looking for functional stance, the roots are in desert racing. Spindles and spacers will get you the look but long travel will get you status.

Every day we stray further from god...

    Welcome to third-and-fourth-owner-it’s-my-first-truck-in-high school-Ville.

Embrace it. In Less than a decade we will move on to “old man truck” status. Clean builds will once again take preference Over the bro-lean clap traps.

it’s the circle of life. We can look at the first gen tundra for inspiration. You will typically see three categories of first gen tundras (and Tacoma’s):

    1. (Rare) Built trucks with beefy lifts and off-road accoutrements.

    2. (Most common) clapped out piles almost completely rebuilt with autozone duralast parts and paint that tells a tale of heroism and despair.

    3. (Rare) Old man trucks. Waxed, clean, mid-mileage (they got used after all) trucks with sensible Michelin tires, no lift, and an owners manual stuffed full of maintenance invoices and receipts.

Normally I would wish for the day that this will finally fall out of fashion, but I truly fear what mildly annoying trend will replace it. Maybe the curb feelers and organ pipe speakers will finally have their long overdue resurgence.

Texas would be my second choice. Cali is just a place to visit. :luvya:

Right... What a pretentious comment lol. You're really going to compare California to your soggy wet napkin?

In reality I couldn't afford to live anywhere in California. That Baja or desert racing truck looks fun.
