There is a small rubber plug that can be removed to gain access. It is up behind the glove box. IMG_0131_55b2bfc6c127d0472c35fd9e5c0a4af66e6fa20d.jpg

You might want to run that wire through the grommet. It'll protect the wire from chafing, and keep water out of the cab.

You could make a tiny cut (ideally smaller than the wire going through it) and in the case of that particular grommet, push it through. I normally would use a thing called a "fish tape" (at least a piece of one). The end of those are sharp enough to poke through rubber. Tape the wire to the other end, and pull through.

You could probably just push the wire through the one your looking at though. You want the hole to be smaller than the wire to keep the seal. Obviously the rubber will stretch enough around the wire to let it pass through. if it's too tight, put some silicone (a tiny amount) on the wire before it gets pulled through. This will lube the wire, and further seal it.

I use a metal hanger to get through the grommets and then seal it with liquid electrical tape. I ran power for a ham radio through the driver's side grommet and the wires for a power tailgate lock through the passenger's side. The hanger makes it easy, but it helps to tape at least six inches of wire so it doesn't slip.
