I've ordered one. Originally scheduled to start delivery in November, they've now pushed that back 6-8 wks to January. A couple new vids recently posted on their youtube channel:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmySehzfxbs&ab_channel=GoFastCampers

There is a bunch of good info on the GFC forum as well https://forum.gofastcampers.com/t/superlite-is-here/2335/24 including a link to this podcast where they answer a bunch of questions:

I just ordered one for the same reasons-- its low weight and the ability to remove it between trips. According to their website, my order will not get fulfilled until "spring 2021"...so March, April May is the window. Ive already devoured all the media...the podcast, walk around video etc. Curious from a timeline point of view when the podcast was first released so I can get a better idea as to the timeline and also the delays/re-setting of the actual production and deliveries. From the sound of what Ive read/heard there have been steady delays. I did email GFC, but have not received a response yet. I wish there was a clearer picture as far as when and how long etc.
I received confirmation of my order and it stated "no charge" for shipping , which must be too good to be true since their website states "shipping not included" and the fact that I am in Hawaii.
I just checked out the Super pacific site-- nice looking gear over there. I was considering going in that direction, but there isn't a lot of Overlanding to do here (Kauai, Hawaii) and the expense seemed exessive for the use I'd get.
Went with the Superlite because all we'd be doing with it is 1 or 2 night camps up on the mountain or down at the shore for fishing. It checked all the boxes for me-- Lightweight, removable, adequate short term shelter, truck bed still almost completely open for hauling stuff and the price point was sweet too. Maybe one day I'll move to the mainland and that would make a full-on camper/rtt purchase make more sense for me. Keep me posted on the status of your Superlite please.

That podcast link was posted on Sept 3. Oct 1 is when they sent the email mentioning the 8 week delay. "November" was the only delivery timing I'd seen mentioned. Delivery would slide later as more orders come in, and now add 8 weeks. If they stay true to 8 weeks from November I should see mine in January or early Feb. Spring doesn't seem unreasonable depending on order levels and production rates. But of course "Spring" is a pretty wide timeline.

I need to talk to them about cancelling. Their website says there is a $500 restocking fee after invoice is paid. Hopefully that only applies to RTT and Camper, which are much more expensive. $500 is 1/3 of the Superlite cost. I'd be very disappointed if they tried to withhold that much. I'll take delivery and re-sell it if they try to hold back more than $150-200. The shipping charge added to my invoice was $125. I'd definitely want a quote from them to ship to Hawaii. You may want to post your questions on the GFC forum. They have been pretty good about answering them and it will help others who may have the same questions.

Im really interested in the Superlite but afraid to pull the trigger sight unseen!

The SuperPacifics are nice looking, I’ve never heard of them until this thread. Any reviews?

I’ve watched all the videos on the tent, but I haven’t seen a clear picture of the top. Is the top covered in the vinyl material?

Anyone else have an issue with them keeping your money for so long with a pretty vague timeline? I actually really want to order one but hate that. I rather just pay the money when its ready

I read it's a extreme UV-stable 600-denier polyester material. Similar to high end ground tent material.

Just ordered one for myself. Won’t be coming until April but I’m stoked. Looks like a quality product.

I'm debating myself on pulling the trigger. Read the IG video review with Q & A answered. I dig that it can be collapsed to 4" from 6" when closed minus the bedding.

I say go for it. It’s so thin and lightweight compared to other hard shells out there.

May the schwartz be with you

So for this tent.. Anyone have any bed rack suggestions for a 5' bed? Seems like it will need to clear over the cab..
