    It was a great deal (as always). I know shipping them would've killed it anyway.

    Their new plate rack? I can build something that'll bolt on (drill two holes per mount). I did it to a Voodoo rack in the first post.

    Not bad for painting outdoors during the Santa Ana winds in a makeshift paintbooth made out of a pop up canopy.

    A bug landed in the paint between the second and third coats so I buried that sumbitch in two more coats of paint and he’s part of the bike now. You can see the bump in the reflection of the light. Otherwise some slight orange peel that I’m halfway convinced of just leaving rather than cutting and buffing it out.

    Thanks Craig. I actually filed the bug off with a razor blade. The tiniest little divot still remains that won’t show up in pictures but I can live with it. It’s a fossilized reminder for any other bugs that wanna mess with the bike.

    I enjoy working on other people’s trucks but there’s also a special feeling when I can finish one of my own projects. I mean what's the point of having all these tools if I can’t do some cool shit for myself every now and then?

    I’ll give it another day before I put the seat on, but the entire profile has changed now and it’s definitely one of a kind (even though only a handful of people will be able to tell that anything has been done).
