I do not actually. But there’s a shop I can recommend you to locally (north Hollywood). They do great work for stereo and tint installs.

If you could make a set similar to Monet's,but a bit wider, lower, and with kickout for DCLB, I'd be all over them.

Thanks Brandon. Those were actually Demello sliders, I just added the top fill plate to them to give them a flat top. That being said, square tube sliders aren’t that hard to put together compared to the round tube that I normally use.

@GHOST SHIP hey, do you do any trimming of the fenders? Looking to fit 35s after I regear. Thanks.

I can do that. There’s a lot of variables when it comes to fitting 35s but if you want the fenders trimmed I can do that. Let me know if and when.

I figured I’d document something here for anyone that’s a fan of the show “How It’s Made”.

When contacting me for sliders, I’m more of a boutique builder than a production guy. Meaning that I take the time to talk over each build with the customer and what you want and how I can accommodate your intended use of your truck. Once we decide on the build (width, kickout/no kickout, angle) I’ll send a quick sketch as a “proof” with my notes. I realize the sketch isn’t to scale and the support tubes aren’t evenly spaced but that gets taken care of in the next step.
    7F667F3E-77AA-40A5-9D49-EA339E7A05CA.jpg

Once that gets approved, I can start building. That begins with drawing a full scale version of the sliders on my shop floor in soap stone.
    880E9869-B5B2-4C0D-A98F-8DE93847C879.jpg

Then I bend the tube to match the angles and curves of the drawing:
    21C79040-D8C5-47D4-B3D0-CB088D7FA063.jpg

The rest of the build is pretty much straight forward: cut the inner rail, support legs, and cross tubes and zap them all together.

This set in particular is being put together with top plates on the rear section and I layout the holes (which will be dimpled) after the sliders are built so I can verify that they flow well with the design of the sliders and are evenly spaced.

    6839A329-7B47-49EF-BE03-BCF0845E77AF.jpg

As an added display of my commitment to symmetry, I stack and tack weld both top plates together and layout/drill the pilot holes at once to ensure that they are laid out exactly the same. Each hole is drilled and dimpled manually and then each plate section is cleaned up and sanded prior to welding to the sliders.

These are teasers for now but I’ll post some finished pictures as I progress on this set.
