My uncle gifted me his 06 before he passed from cancer this past Christmas morning. I swore to myself that it would be my stock daily driver since the 01 is completely built. He hardly drove it so it came with 56,000 miles.

Well the stock shocks were getting worn (yah right) so some new fronts and rears were called for. :anonymous:

Thanks to Sergio for the install. 20230209_105131.jpg20230209_105141.jpg

Thanks again for the work. Initial impressions on the leaf pack are great. It rides a lot smoother and does not bounce as much over bumps in the road. I have not felt any vibrations yet so I believe the ECGS bushing cured that issue. If anyone is in the Los Angeles area and need some work done hit up @GHOST SHIP. Communication was great and everything looks great. He even adds the paint marks on the bolts he tightened so you can easily see if they are still tight.

Thank you man! I take a lot of pride in my work and try to make sure everything that leaves my shop has the same care as if I were working on my own vehicle. Kinda nerdy but I also use a paint pen that compliments the color of your truck or suspension. Depending on what I’m working on, I have red, yellow, blue and white paint pens. Haha.

I like your rack, do you mind sharing you basic plan for it? I don’t have a need for a roof rack but I’ve had an idea for a light bar/cage that would work well with your rack design.

That's a good looking bumper. Makes me almost regret getting the lil b bumper. Would have gone with CBI but it was just so heavy and the aluminum was too pricey. Looks great though

I'll pretend you didn't say that so I don't have buyers remorse. Mines currently being on freight so can't do anything about it anyway.

    Nice install @GHOST SHIP

Thanks! Plan? I originally designed it because there wasn’t anything in the market that was 48” wide for carrying flat stock like plywood or drywall. It kind of bothered me that most racks at the time were only 46.5-47” wide. Seemed like a missed opportunity. I also prefer the expanded steel as opposed to the now common extruded aluminum bars because you can hook tie downs anywhere on it without the need for special hardware or tools. Otherwise it’s just a pretty basic flat rack made to be as low profile as possible.
    Appreciated.

I should have clarified, the way it mounts up to the roof lol but I agree, I’ve had ideas for similar roof racks, even saw BajaRacks has something similar but charges an astronomical amount for it. The mounting part is where I’m stuck, I’m just curious as to what you did for that. Thanks bro
