Busy weekend and I didn’t take a single picture of anything.
    2 CMCs
    Finished an electrical install
    Installed ES radiator support bushings
Made a washer tub fire pit
Started building a spaceframe for a custom camper.

Oh, I guess I did take one picture. These are the radiator core support bushings from a 2015. The front end had developed an odd squeak when flexing over speed bumps or in and out of driveways. Hard to see but the bushings had both worn through so the inner metal sleeve was making contact with the front end sheet metal. The collapsed bushing also caused the front fenders, grill and headlights to sag ever so slightly since they all mount to the core support. Adding these bushing was actually pretty easy so I guess I’ll have to dig mine out of my box of Tacoma parts where they’ve been sitting for a couple years.

If anyone follows local threads, there’s some big stuff going down tomorrow. In preparation for that, I converted my stock shackle hangers to bolt on. :anonymous:

Make sure to get those new u bolts sooner rather than later. I’m sure someone here has a stock set they can send you for next to nothing.

That one stripped nut doesn’t give me a lot of confidence but I’m glad we found it and were still able to get you put back together.

@WillyTtaco Sergio is really good at what he does. His fab/welding skills are top notch and as you probably know already, he works quickly and efficiently. And on top of that, he's super down to earth and is a great resource for the local SoCal taco group. You guys are lucky.

But anyways, i have some extra u-bolts (square). What length do you need? You can have mine if its the right size.

Yeah definitely ! Looking forward to working with him in the future.

Pretty sure stock length would work. Just have an add a leaf in the stock pack. If you have a full set with nuts that would be awesome !

    Today’s PSA:
Keep an eye on your ProEagle jack extension. I was working under a truck when I heard a pop. Didn’t know what it was and the truck didn’t move because I keep pressure on the floor jack even when there’s weight on the jack stands.
    E7233210-0241-44D9-9DCB-8B9DDD300332.jpg

Close inspection shows a lot of porosity in the aluminum which indicates a poor alloy mix and little to no prep at the weld area. I bought this extension a few years ago and it’s worked perfectly until this past week.

I ordered a replacement from Kartek and the new version I received is made of steel. The weld still looks suspect and doesn’t appear to have full penetration but I can correct that if it ever fails.
