Cap rack completed this weekend for @NoCoke.Pepsi.389 to pair up with his GS roof rack. It will be getting paint this week and installed ASAP.

Install today of some TJM sliders on @Georgeth1022 ’s 2nd gen. (Hopefully he posts pictures here.) TJM advertises them for 3rd gens only but drilling just one hole per side and they otherwise bolted right on with no interference. Seeing them in person makes me feel like my sliders stick out too far now.

Edit: turns out you have to drill out the same bolt hole for install on third gens too so go figure.

I like sliders that stick out far, feels like they offer good protection that way. I've seen some that look tucked up against the body that might protect well from underneath but leave the sides vulnerable above the slider

It was more of an observation on the TJM design. The sliders I make are the traditional design like yours and most vendors. The TJM ones sit more like Jeep sliders that are tucked up tight to the body. No doubt they offer far less protection but I still like them aesthetically.

Here a few shots of the TJM sliders that are advertised for the third gen on my second gen. Sergio did a killer job with the install, couldn’t be happier. Tucked up super close and tight to the body.
