so whats everyone opinion on a good shock? planning on doing shackle flip and a relocation... this limiting thing really made me po'd so now im after to fix it

I want a resi shock and debating going 2.0 or 2.5

i wont do these following brands:
-Fox: buddy local has em and keeps having to repair them even if he isnt wheeling very much
    - walker evans: saw them leaking out of the box and that scares the shit out of me
    - Bilstein i wont do cause eventually i want tu up grade the front to match

    whats you opinions?

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
just go with a 2.0 fox, you won't get the benefit of a 2.5 unless your driving pretty fast over the rough stuff. bigger diameter means more oil, takes longer for the shock to heat up and fade. a 2.0 with a resi will work perfectly fine. if you local buddy keeps on having problems its probably a major problem he isn't addressing or he is rebuilding them wrong. fox, king, icon, saw, and ads are all pretty good companies and stand behind there products. king, fox, icon and ads stand up better to rust though.

i have a set of 14 inch bilstiens that are going to go on my truck when i get around to relocating the rear shocks.

Well SUre as Shit rear diff is having some serial issues again!! Im am running Out of ideas why these things keep dying!!!! I have done proper break in, this last diff install was full out clean and install abd still it is screwing up! during the process of break in there was no offroading or long road trips. I even used the gear oil ECGS told me to use lucas 80w90. here is a video showing what noise I am talking about.

so I don't know who, what, where, when, why, how... all I know is I have a feeling my golden horse shoe is gone and im not gonna get this resolved under warranty.. to be honest I wouldn't hold it against ecgs as they have already done 3 diffs for me.... so in th event of this what are some good rear diff options that are an easy bolt in swap besides the trd sport axle?

i used the cheapest pennzoil 75w90 i could find for my break in period. took it easy for the first 800km then swapped to gear oil out with another batch of cheap pennzoil stuff for another 400km then swap it out to redline synth 75w90. i got metal filings in the first and second oil change. but the second was considerably less. have been running my redline synth now for 16000km without a single issue. toyota 8.4 with an arb.

Let me know how those Cruisin Offroad skids work for you. Interested to see how they bolt up and work. Talked with Jason and would like to get these for my truck.
