It didn't really rain that much here in Gilmer. I think we got about half an inch or less of rain. Wish I could join you guys but the wife and weekend plans happened again. Enjoy and take pictures, I'll try to get out there one day.

    Wait...

Why did I think this was last weekend and not this weekend.

Going to be going to a Cars and Taco's thing in Tyler in the Morning at ETX Brewing then may or may not be able to head out there. Haven't fully decided yet.

Welp it ended being a great outting, I wheeled with Cerla Offroad club from Louisiana. THEY had serious rigs with 35+ tires all on trailers rigs, 2 80 series LC, 3rd gen 4Runner King long travels on 255/80, and 2 sas Jeeps. I bent my passenger side steering knuckle coming down that sharp drop off turn at The Playground. I should of rode the rut but I wanted to ride the left wall, f up should of followed the lead in front my line. I got hung and noticed my steering wheel was 1/4 turn off. My front passenger wheel was jammed bad on the right wall. I was able drive home with the damage but it really chucked up my 285 P Wildpeaks, DT road hazard will cover me. A used knuckle from the junk yard fixed me up for Now. Firestone was able to get me 3.7 to 3.9 max caster back, wish it was 3.8 and 4.0 like before.

I'll post a Google shared folder when I collect all the pictures, I'm in then process of buffing out the 3 full length stripes all along on the passenger side. My tjm airtec knocked a branch forward and it feel down forking my passenger side, never seen anything like that happened before. My wife was upset how that side of the 4runner looked more so than the bent extreme looking negative camber wheel.

The Cerla fellas were great, the Welch Mafia family were very entertaining, Hunter and Shane knew how to navigate through all the non marked trails unbelievably well. It was something seeing his rig flex the way it did with LC springs. We will go to HF sometime later this year I need 34s first.

How were the trails out there? Were they able to fill in all the washouts and ruts that have gotten out of hand?

Trails were all manicured and opened. Saturday morning was the end of the drying stages, moist but manageable,in the afternoon it was fine. Early morning at Clydes ravine was still a little soupy, when I went solo I had to lay out my traction boards up on one ramp up technical section, my Driver side rear Wildpeak AT couldn't obtain traction.

Good to hear you had a fun time and got to hang out with a good group.

I ended up having way to much going on that day to make it out there unfortunately.
