Our local club, LA4X4, is having it's annual (9th) ride
at Barnwell Mountain, in Gilmer, TX. If anyone's in the area
that weekend, come on out and ride with us... mostly
Jeeps, but we have a little of everything in the club, it's
always a good time. I'll be wheeling the Jeep, need to
build some skids and rock rails (and pay the loan down)
before I get too far off the road with the Taco.
Look for this Jeep, hopefully it'll be a little more vertical. :D

Did anyone scratch the Jeep's belly while it was on it's side? lol

I'd be game but I'm replacing a clutch right now; so all my fun money just went up in clutch smoke.

    So I'm guessing a locked 2wd wouldn't cut it?

Yes, there are dozens of trails out there, for any type of
vehicle, hundreds of acres to ride - 2X4 will have fun too.

You would need to be a locked 2WD first. :D

Leaving in the morning, gonna tow the Jeep with the wife's Tahoe...
tried a couple of test pulls with the Taco, it did OK, but the braking
(even with trailer brakes) leaves a little to be desired, and you can
tell it's got a load back there.
I'm used to towing with 3/4 ton Diesels, sold a Duramax
to get the Toyota, so I just have to get used to it, I guess.
I would use it if that's all I had, but not for an 8 hour pull.
