There aint nothing wrong with it. My wife and I were engaged at 18 and got married right before I went to Basic at 19. We also lived together in high school, but ya know.

It's not a Ferrari but I wouldn't let her drive it just for shits and gigs. If she wants to use it to transport furniture, dinner and/or a keg then let her.

thats what I said. All my friends told me, Boy you effed up now bro. You stuck for life.

Bitches No I'm not. I have loved and been with this girl for 4 solid years I dont think I signed my life away. I feel commited to it just like I did my Truck and the Air Force.

I don't have a problem with my wife driving my truck (as far as she knows) but she doesn't ask to. It's a respect thing. OP, have you thought about the fact that this SHOULDN'T be that important to her? If she wants proof of your feelings or commitment then how about the whole "not until marriage" thing. Or the fact that you're in the military and still acknowledge her as anything but a receptacle when you're on leave? Been there bro. There's a deeper need on her side. It's called control...and it only gets worse.

Tell her to drive her daddy's truck.

So you are committed to your vehicle up in the gangsta ghetto in Puyallup? Or are you auditioning for Maury Povich?

And are you equating your commmitment to another human being to a pile of metal? If she gets rusty, are you going to have her crushed?

Puyallup is rich folks. No not auditioning. Nice to see that you didn't say shit bout the Military though. Thanks. And actually as far as my pile of metal. I love my truck. Treat it like its a piece of glass. Actually my wife is the most important person in my life. Keeps my ass in line.

I am not about to read this whole thread but definitely let her drive it. It will make her feel special if you let her and no one else. Plus she wont break it. I love when my girl drives my truck! When I had my 2010 Manual Mustang GT one of her friends could drive stick. She talked about how she wanted to drive one to my GF when I wasn't around. After a heard that we went out to an old farm road and I let her drive. She was as smooth as I was. Plus scored huge brownie points with the GF and friend.

Yea it was funny at the time. Never listening to "OHHHH GO THROUGH THE PUDDLE" again...

Now with a new trans, starter, alternator, pulleys, and a muddy interior... Expensive mistake, just like children :p
