Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
People always ridicule the 4 banger, but it has plenty of power for the truck. You don't need to haul ass everywhere anyway, if you wanna do that, buy a sports car. I live in Montana and there are plenty of hilly highways out here, 4th gear on a steep grade I can run at 65-70mph all day long. Compared to the 4 bangers I have drove in the past, this one is very impressive!

Unless they offroad. Or were smart enough to realize if they needed more bed space they should have bought a a REAL fullsize truck. :)

#1 reason to keep the 2009, you bought it from a dealership and they likely don't have a return policy like Walmart... Good luck trying to return a vehicle and not getting raped on the transaction.

Thanks guys for the replies. Made for a fun post.
    I like both trucks.
I'll make the official announcement that I bought the 09 at the end of the day today.
I'll keep it and try and keep the first gen truck for now

    reasons to keep it:

    1. think next 3 to 5 years maintenance free.
    2. enjoy modern convenience of new truck.
    3. It is the only timberland green SR5 Toyota I4 I know of in the area.
    4. gives plenty of time to get old truck up to snuff for sale or wheelin in future.
    5. gives time to shave cost on the repair of 3.4 and look for engine if needed for sale. cause my old truck is in high demand in this area. most popular toyota for most ppl.
I want it to have a good home. It truly is a kick-ass truck.
    6. loan helps repair damaged credit from being a dumbass in the past.

    7. remember the reason I got a i4 for is cause i put tons of miles each year on the vehicle I drive. 30k last year.
    8. I don't own a boat nor have a wood stove.
