    Can I have your old battery, since there is nothing wrong with it.

    Do you plan on doing a lot of serious off roading or plan to roll the truck upside down?

    I'm not a fan of these batteries. Their benies are not worth the extra coin to me.

    I haven't bought an AGM yet. My battery is still going strong. This is just a "pre-buy" buy :rofl:

    If "pre buying" was a thing or a competition, you would be the reigning champion.

    I paid $55 for this one. To order it from the company, it's $90($70 with $20 shipping) and a 2wk to 6wk delivery time.

    I had some time at work tonight to read up on solar and dual battery systems. I don't have the OR, so the only option to buy is a dual battery on the driver side(I already have an Off Grid Engineering tray I bought months ago), and I just don't want to have that much weight right there. So I made a cardboard battery(Group 27 size) to see about moving some things on the passenger side. I'm pretty sure I'd be fine with a 100W solar and single battery(fridge is the only extra with a winch to come).

    I have no idea what I'm doing :rofl:

    I found this while searching and will go this route.

    What hasn't been modified?
    Few questions;
    1 do you have the stupid air pump next to your abs module On passenger side?
    2 do you park out side in full sun during the day?
    3 are you wanting the fridge on 24/7?
    4 if yes to Q1 have you considered locating the battery in the bed or ago battery behind the rear seats?

    1. Yes
    2. The only time my truck is in the sun is first and last thing while at work(7p-7a)
    3. Not really wanting, but if I can leave it in then that'd be a plus.
    4. I have a decked system, so changing/dealing with the battery would be a pain in the ass I imagine. Behind the rear passenger seat is my toolbox and the driver side is where I have the fridge.
    5. I think I'm just gonna go with my single battery like in the vid. I think that will be more than enough. I honestly don't think I "need" solar for the truck, especially since I'll have the camp trailer. That's probably where I need to put my time/money into as far as solar power is concerned.
