We had a massive cold front come through the Southeast. I think folks in FL thought the end of the world was happening

 

haha when hell freezes over! well look at that Florida froze!

 

The only problem I had this morning was my chin. I might grab a neck warmer thingy and throw it in the tank bag.

 

It is freezing cold. I rode the other day and gave up. The AlpineStar leather is warm, but there is no flap behind the zipper, so cold wind comes in thru there. My Shoei has a chin guard for wind, but not much help.

If it wasn’t Xmas I would have pulled my ecu and sent it for flashing. But with shipping over the holidays I was worried it would take to long or get lost.

 

My Suomy has a chin guard too, just never used it before. I have the 550 performance ECU on my "list". I think I will buy it and then just send mine back for the $120 refund(or whatever it is). I need to get the exhaust, air box lid, and snorkel...........along with Rally Raid suspension.....always something

 

So I've really been wanting to paint my plastics white. If I ever get the balls to do it, I'm gonna try and get Warp 9 wheels with red rims/hubs and silver spokes.


If I do that, I'll change the HRC sticker on my helmet with an American flag on that side and a Rising Sun on the other.









Or..............




I found a CRF with red wheels and hubs. I think it'd go well with white plastics.

 

Christmas day right to work

 

I just ordered some parts for the bike. I lost the bottom 8, 6, and 2 last time I had the light off, so I ordered 4 of each.



I also ordered 2 tail light bulbs(9). The running light filament went out....figured a spare would be a good idea.

 

you still have the oem tail light?

 

Yup. I just put a smaller Honda rear fender

I'm gonna paint the fork guards and see how I like them. They're cheap if not. I'm gonna go for my own version of the CB125X concept



I'm thinking of stickers in red(what I'm leaning towards right now) or red/white/blue. I'll probably just use the wings, HRC, and maybe Repsol







If I go red/white/blue, I may change the wheel strips for a set like these

 

Or go with these and matching gold wheels
