that 07 brings back many of fun memories... But on the SM side here is a few of my 07..
I really liked that bike a lot, but after being taken off the road a few time from drivers paying more attention to their phones than the road I gave up the street. Now I have just a nice trail blaster. this one keeps me busy.

    Be Safe..

Got my dash in the mail. As soon as the new bars come in, I'll get everything mounted.

Nice bike! I had a 2012 drz for a couple years that I loved. Got a husky 449 now but I miss the drz sometimes.

Gotta try to steer you away from the Dakar springs though. The icon aal pack would be better if you’re trying to support that bike on your hitch. I’ve been disappointed in the Dakar spring packs weight carrying capability

Thanks for this tidbit. I am also in the market for springs and carry bikes in the truck.

You bet. My springs are flat even with no load and they go slightly negative with a few hundred pounds in the bed. Adding weight farther back on the trailer hitch just makes it worse. My wife’s stock 4Runner handles the dirt bike hitch rack the same as my Tacoma with Dakar springs. Somebody else on here has some before and after with Dakars and the icon aal. I’ll go look for that and then get back to you with more evidence

Never mind, I can’t find it again. He just had pictures for what I’m describing. He said he wound up taking the overload leafs off his Dakar pack and replacing them with icon and that gave him a bit of lift as well as keeping the springs positive, so that’s probably what I’ll wind up doing too.

Well, got the DRZ torn apart and missing the 1/4 spacer for the battery box :annoyed:. I'm also gonna need to get new bolts to mount the tail light.
