Glad i bought a 2019

SRS is completely passive. People don’t check their blind spots less because they are wearing a seatbelt. They check it less because they let a little light do it for them. Same can be said for other active systems.

They stare at their phones longer because a beep will warn them or the car will brake for them. Without it they have to do it.

 

2002 ... oh, wait- I sold it for my 2017, but that’s doing good as well. No Tacoma Nanny and plenty of back storage for me!

 

People take more risks because they have seat belts...Which is the same logic you are using to get all fud about new safety features ....

sucks that you can't get an access sr5 with a manual... or at least build the sport without the tech package crap.

 

I have a 18 OR and the tss kicked in and worked great like you had stated. All I did was take my eyes off the road for a second and next thing I know the truck is beeping like crazy and locked up the rear tires and kept me from rear ending the person in front of me. And this happened with my 295's, lift.

 

I like the TSS features on my 2019 also until they break $$$$$.

 

I have been told by folks here that I must a have a unicorn. Love my 2017 Sport MT!!
