I love the TSS system. The adaptive cruise control is a very enjoyable feature for long drives.

Looks like the pricing is options dependent. Base msrp for a 2019 DCSB 4wd Sr5 is $34,990. It's $35,190 for a 2020 which is only a difference of $200. Same with the OR 4wd DCSB models: $36,765 for the 2019 and $36,965 for the 2020. Again, only a difference of $200 which is worth it for a better HU and power driver seats.

It's the options on the 2020 that are ridiculously overpriced. Premium on the OR costs $2k more on the 2020 than the 2019.

The transmission and TSS/sensor issues are standard; they are already included in the price :D

Had an economics class where we were discussing causation and correlation. Example given was ABS systems. Which, unquestionably made the modern car safer for the masses; however, based on the data provided, braking related accidents actually went up temporarily after they became standard. At first look it may seem the ABS was at fault, but what they actually found was people became less aware/cautious while driving and it led to more accidents. He showed us some other examples where other safety related equipment led to more accidents especially right after they became common.

Totally happy with my 2018, especially since it's a discontinued color. I wouldn't mind a powered seat, or CarPlay, but I'll wait on a major update (or an accumulation of nice new features) before buying a new Tacoma.

That’s my standard driving set up. I hate that auto lane departure feature.

Back on topic: Actually considered trading up to a 2020 for the power seats and new features but none of the colors interest me aside from the army green but don’t want to pay for a pro. Got way too much invested into my ‘19 QS anyway.

I'm glad I bought a 2017 SR 4x4 with the ROCK solid 2.7 coupled with a 5 sp manual transmission. I hope you are as happy as I am.
