Glad to be a finally be a member!

I have been lurking on this forum for the past month, and after spending countless hours reading about lift kits, armour, tires, etc., decided to finally sign on. My wife and I had spent about three months searching for the ideal used Tacoma to replace our stolen Jeep Cherokee, and purchased a 2008 Sport double cab about a month ago. We bought it with the intention of gradually customizing a stock truck into something that would compliment our outdoor recreation activities, such as hiking, canoeing/kayaking, backcountry camping, and eventually dirt biking. We have already had it up in the mountains on some pretty rough/steep logging roads, easily taking us to a trail head that many other people had to hike in to reach due to their inadequate vehicles. We couldn't be happier with our decision to buy a Tacoma! This forum has been an amazing resource for the many questions I have had so far. I'm glad to be here!
